Imagine being far, far from home and all alone, arriving in a remote snow-bound village, surrounded by dense forest and strange noises. This is how Yana’s story begins. She can’t understand a word anyone says and the other children tease her with tales of mythical mountain monsters. Then things start to get really hairy....

Featuring exquisite music, Arctic landscapes and a cast of extraordinary puppets, Yana and the Yeti is aimed at family audiences (5+). This is a dark, funny and poignant tale of a small child’s determination to be understood and her discovery that friends can come in the most unexpected shapes and sizes.

This show was made in Northern Norway, above the Arctic Circle where Yetis still exist.

Praise for Yana and the Yeti:

Created with an international ensemble, Muckers is a quest for self-acceptance, with original songs and quite a lot of Spanish. CHORES - A Comedy Circus Show For The Whole Family

Friday 29 May at 3pm

Tickets - £8, family of four - £30

Chores is the story of two typical young rascal boys playing in their messy bedroom.

Suddenly, their mother's alarming screams rattle the boys back in to acrobatic action. A generous serve of comedy and chaotic acrobatics accompanies every attempt at cleaning their room and doing their chores. This mess of chaos and comedy concludes with a last-minute cleaning spree.

The parents are kept at bay and the rewards come flooding in!

Inspired by slapstick legends Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, the side-splitting duo of Chores is coming your way. Two excitable brothers, are definitely, probably, maybe, just about to, almost, at some stage, going to do the chores their mother has asked them to do…

With highlights of skilled stunts and uproarious, interactive gags, and with very little spoken dialogue, the audience will find themselves on the edge of their seats and giggling until the chores are done.

Chores is brought to you by Julian Roberts and Morgan Wilson, the performers from Hoopla Clique. With collectively over 20 years’ experience, the exuberant talent of these two clowns redefines slapstick humour and show cases the true value of tenacity, teamwork, trust and cooperation through physical theatre.
