This December Rubicon Dance will premiere a new, family friendly production of the Christmas favourite, The Nutcracker. In a first for Wales, this version of The Nutcracker is given a new, original twist featuring music by Duke Ellington and is transplanted into a 20th Century Welsh family Christmas. Choreographed by award winning Jamiel Laurence, lately of Scottish Ballet, in his first full length work, Rubicon Dance Company’s #NewportNutcracker features eight of Wales’ most exciting dancers.
